in ink and colour on silk depicting an equestrian figure looking back over his shoulder towards a figure crossing a bridge over a small flowing river, surrounded by tall grassy outcrops and amongst pine trees, signed Xu Ling and with two seals -- 45½in. x 19¼in. (115.5cm x 49cm.).
