A VERY RARE SET OF FIVE LATE MING WUCAI DISHES
WANLI SIX-CHARACTER MARKS WITHIN DOUBLE-CIRCLES AND OF THE PERIOD (1573-1619)

Each enamelled to the centre of the interior with a qilin supporting a shrine with a central cash emblem on its back, surrounded by precious objects and cloud-scrolls, the well decorated with a continuous floral meander, the exterior with alternating lanterns containing cash emblems and auspicious objects, the short foot with a classic scroll, all framed by double lines painted in underglaze-blue
