A RARE FAMILLE ROSE YELLOW AND PINK GROUND CONJOINED VASE
IRON-RED QIANLONG FOUR-CHARACTER SEALMARKS AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)

Each of the vases of slightly flattened ovoid form, the larger pink-ground vase delicately enamelled around the body with large central lotus blooms borne on undulating flowering stems, flanked at the sides above and below by bats bearing wan symbols and lingzhi sprigs between lappet, ruyi, whorl and key-fret bands, all reserved on a soft pink ground, the second, smaller vase positioned to the fore, similarly decorated on a vivid, lemon-yellow ground, the interiors and bases covered in a turquoise enamel
