Tennyson') to Tom Taylor, n.p., [postmarked 5 April 1847], 'Here I am & have been for several days lying sick of ½ a dozen complaints. Come & let me see you but don't tell any one as I can't see company -- far too ill', half page, 8vo, integral address leaf; [with] autograph manuscript quotation, four lines of verse, 'The little lovers['] quarrel That all the more endears When we fall out with those we love And kiss again with tears', on a fragment detached from a larger leaf, 60 x 133mm, pasted to the foot of the letter.
