Lot Essay

Alisa Rudolfovna Golienkina (1892-1973) was an artist and a painter on porcelain. She graduated from the Baron A. Stieglitz School of Technical design in St. Petersburg in 1910. Between 1919-1924 she worked as a painter and designer at the State Porcelain Factory where she created many compositions for series of propaganda works and portraits.
