oval box, the panels on cover, sides and base engine-turned with wavy reeding forming a coin pattern and enamelled with translucent blue, within reeded gold and opaque white enamel borders, the cover inset with an oval enamel miniature painted with three ladies in classical dress in a landscape, hiding Cupid's arrows, within a split-pearl border, the base enamelled with a posy of flowers in gold paillons, both lid and base bordered by gold paillon vine and grapes, the four side panels hung with identical grape and vine swags, the matted gold borders enamelled with translucent red and opalescent white beads flanked by translucent green enamelled leaves, the four side dividers similarly enamelled; with suede-lined hinged brown leather case stamped 'Bulgari Roma'
