on a Vienna blue-ground cabinet cup and saucer, circa 1830, blue shield mark to both, the cup with script FM mark in black, the cup of flared form with a gilt loop handle, the portrait painted in a cartouche with oval gilt band, against a blue ground below a border of gilt panels, scrolls and foliage, the saucer with a central floral medaillion against a blue ground within a similar border, gilt band rims
the miniature oval, 2½ in. (63 mm.); the cup, 3½ in. (91 mm.) diam.; the saucer 5 7/8 in. (143 mm.) diam. (2)

Daffinger's signed watercolour on ivory miniature of the Countess was sold Sotheby's, London, Olympia, 24 July 2002, lot 34.
