The obverse with a scene from the theater, with a nude ithyphallic African fleeing to the left, gesticulating wildly, pursued by an ithyphallic donkey, a female figure following behind, wearing a pleated peplos, a stick in her raised right hand; the reverse with three draped youths, one with a staff; each side with a band of meander below with one saltire square and one crossed square with diagonals at the corners, a band of laurel above, several perforations from ancient repairs on the obverse
