A bone relief from the workshop Embriachi, early 15th Century, illustrated in J. Leeuwenberg, Beeldhouwkunst in het Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam, 1973, catalogue no. 905, is carved with mountains and trees comparable to the ones in the present lot.
