Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of this watch in 1954 and its subsequent sale on 6 April 1955.

Reference 2508 is today amongst the most popular "time only" wristwatches by Patek Philippe. Its simple but yet masculine and sporty making it a great collector's watch, especially since its case proportions are very much identical to the celebrated screw back chronograph, the reference 1463.

Reference 2508 was launched in 1951 and in production until 1960. This model is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, second edition, p. 204, pl. 328.
