With nickel-finished jewelled lever movement, bi-metallic compensation balance, gold cuvetted with engraved inscription, the decorative gold dial with blue Roman numerals on white enamel cartouche, outer enamel minute track, finely pierced blued steel hands, the circular box hinged case all in relief, the front bezel reading INTEMPUS SECVRITAS, the back cover in relief depicting St. George slaying the dragon, the border reading S. GEORGIVS EQVITVM PATRONVS, the inside of the back cover unusually showing a different scene also in relief depicting a ship sailing through a storm, movement signed and numbered, case identically numbered
