With gilt frosted chain and fusée movement with verge escapement, turned baluster pillars, pierced and decoratively engraved cock, quarter repeating on a bell, the white enamel dial with stylised Arabic numerals, gold beetle and poker hands, the case set with seed pearls to the front and back bezels, case back set with a finely painted enamel scene of a fair lady in classical dress reading her book, on a blue translucent background over guilloché decoration, repeating mechanism activated by depressing the pendant, together with a gilt and glazed out case, dial and movement signed
