With gilt brass chain fusee movement, verge escapement, plain three-arm balance under decoratively engraved cock and foot, square baluster pillars, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals and five minute divisions, beetle and poker hands, in plain inner case, the later outer case with decorative engraved borders and shaped five piece hinge, engraved stylized initials to the case back, movement signed, inner case with London hallmark for 1774, outer case with London hallmark for 1792
