Cal. 27 SC nickel-finished movement stamped with the Geneva Seal, 18 jewels, mono-metallic balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, swan-neck micrometer regulator, the silvered matte dial with applied faceted baton numerals, gold dauphine hands, in large circular case with flat bezel, downturned lugs, snap on back, together with an 18k gold Patek Philippe buckle, case, dial and movement signed

Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of this watch in 1964 and its subsequent sale on 26 January 1966.

Production of the reference 570 began in 1938, dubbed as the large Calatrava at the time and produced mainly in yellow and white gold. The first examples were equipped with calibres 12.120, 12.400 or 12 SC, with subsidiary seconds or sweep centre seconds.

The sweep centre seconds version was produced in two series: the first fitted with a 12 SC movement was in production until 1950; the second with calibre 27 SC, such as the present watch, from 1950 until 1970.
