The ingenious and unusual design of the 7-Day Carrousel Tourbillon by Dr. Ludwig Oechslin, a scientist, inventor, historian and watchmaker, allows the owner to set and wind the watch without a crown and to read the time without traditional hands. The watch can beat for seven days when fully wound and the movement rotates once an hour without the need for any lubrication.
It is also the first time piece ever produced that features an escapement etched out of polycrystalline cultured diamond. This material neither expands nor contracts and is free from electric and magnetic influences.
The present watch is part of a limited edition of 99 pieces only.
