A very similar beaker from the collection of the Hungarian National Museum was exhibited London, The Gilbert Collection, A Celebration of Hungarian Gold and Silver, 2004, no. 18. That example was made in 1621 for the Guild of Shoemakers of the eastern Hungarian town of Debrecen and relates to other examples made in the late 16th and early 17th century in Turkish occupied Hungary.
