Offered in an original wooden case. Very good appearance. Levels into neck
Note de dégustation: Au cours des années 1980, le bouquet du Lafite s'est merveilleusement bien développé. En 1997, il a bien évolué avec une extraordinaire saveur, pleine de fruit, parfumée. Plus récemment, toujours aussi formidablement profond et comparativement jeune ; un bouquet bien développé, suave et harmonieux. En bouche, très impressionnant, qui peut encore impressionner. Tasting note: Over the 1980s, the Lafite bouquet developed beautifully. In 1997, it was well evolved with an extraordinary flavour, full of fruit, fragrant. Most recently, still impressively deep and comparatively youthful; a well developed, sweet and harmonious bouquet. Mouthfilling, so much on show, so much left to show. April 2001 ****(*) M.B.
