Lot 614: étiquettes abîmées. Niveaux: deux mi/début et une mi-épaule. Lot 615: étiquettes légèrement griffées dont trois abîmées. Niveaux: une dans le goulot, sept haut de l'épaule, deux juste en-dessous du haut l'épaule et deux début de l'épaule
Lot 614: bin-soiled labels. Levels: two mid/upper and one mid-shoulder. Lot 615: slightly nicked labels, three of which are bin-soiled. Levels: one into neck, seven top-shoulder, two just below top and two upper-shoulder
Note de dégustation: Je n'ai jamais été un fan de Petrus 1978, mais dans le bénéfice du doute, j'ai été séduit par une impériale. Le vin me révéla une couleur rubis, suivie d'un nez végétal, d'herbe et de tomate verte, assez corsé, et une bonne concentration et longueur. Robert Parker, Wine Advocate #103 (Feb 1996)
Tasting Note: I have never been a fan of the 1978 Petrus, but even I was ready to give it the benefit of doubt and be seduced when it was served out of an Imperial. The wine revealed a medium ruby color, followed by an herb, under-ripe tomato, vegetal nose, medium body, and average flavor concentration and length. Robert Parker, Wine Advocate #103 (Feb 1996)
