2o (295 x 209 mm). Title within an elaborate woodcut border and printed in red and black, 136 woodcut illustrations and diagrams, figured initials. (Some staining, some light worming occasionally affecting text, B8 with short tear affection a few lines, last leaf with repairs to blank margin.) 17th-century vellum backed boards.
Second Edition in Italian, and first Durantino edition. The 136 woodcuts "are close copies of the full set of blocks from the Giocondo edition of 1511 printed at Venice by Giovanni Tacuino.
