(Some spotting, occasionally heavy, the first few gatherings of volume one damaged by corrosive ink in the top corner.) Original brown pebble-grain cloth lettered and decorated in gilt on the spine (scuffed at the extremities, some damage to one corner); modern quarter red morocco gilt slipcase. Provenance: Edward Davis (signatures).
