FIRST AMERICAN EDITION. A FINE FAMILY COPY OF THIS CLASSIC LEATHERSTOCKING NOVEL. D. Linn has signed the front free-endpaper of each volume (partially torn away in volume two), Catherine A. Linn has signed each volume on the recto of the first blank and the title-page in each volume and again on the first page of text in volume two.
