"Elegant, rich and still youthful if no longer young aromas explode from the glass, leading to fat, soft and intense flavors that manage to maintain their focus despite being quite ripe. There is excellent length and no botrytis plus simply wonderful complexity and a seductive mouth coating quality to the finish. A very impressive effort and one that is holding well though I don't see this holding for many more years. I would look for reasons to drink up, even if there is no urgency." BH (Nov 2003)
