Lot Essay
The table offered for sale here belongs to the nine-piece drawing-room suite which Michiel de Klerk designed for 't Woonhuys in 1915/1916 and which was probably not executed until 1917. Only some nineteen sets were made. Parts of the suite can be found in various collections such as in the Collections of the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam, the Centraal Museum, Utrecht and the Wolfsonian, Miami Beach, Florida
