The rectangular panelled mahogany back flanked on either side by a rectangular rosewood panel with stepped rounded top and carved with linear decoration, the rectangular arms with concave fronts and hinged flap armrests opening to reveal a rectangular compartment, the rectangular seat above an apron carved with linear decoration, on two japanned rectangular feet with pentagonal fronts set with semi-parabola ornaments
