The chairs both with white enamelled circular metal label moulded ado nederl fabrikaat, the table with paper label printed Het Kinderparadijs Leuwestraat 26-28 Hilversum Tel.4353 (3)

Lot Essay

ADO (Arbeid Door Onvolwaardigen) was a workshop for occupational therapy at the health-resort 'Berg en Bosch' in Apeldoorn. Doll's furniture, trains, cars etc. were made after designs by and under guidance of Ko Verzuu. The main part of Verzuu's mianiture furniture are inspired by designs of G.T. Rietveld, H. Wouda and C. Alons.
