MARK OF PHILIP FREDERICK ALEXANDER, LONDON, 1905,
The hammered sides chased with clusters of oranges interspersed with pierce panels of branches, the centre of bowl chased with a flower-head, on collet foot, inscribed around rim "To Sir William and Lady Crookes in commemoration of their Golden Wedding , April 10th. 1906, from Sir J.W. and Lady Swan", 10 7/8 in. diameter (27.5 cm.), 25.5 oz.
