A PAIR OF LATE 17TH/EARLY 18TH CENTURY GERMAN PARCEL-GILT SILVER SPOONS
MARK OF GOTTFRIED KÖRNER, BRESLAU, CIRCA 1700,
The faceted stems capped by mask-embellished knop finials, further masks above the fig-shaped bowls, the backs of bowls engraved with arms featuring a swan & initials "D" over "IB", ALSO a similar spoon with acanthus-engraved bowl, marked only with a "12" standard mark & a fourth spoon, unmarked, probably Silesian, with knop finial, ribbed rat-tail bowl with acanthus engraving & mask above bowl, the reverse incorporating an initialled cartouche, 8.25 oz.
