MARK OF CHARLES FREDERICK HANCOCK, LONDON, 1874,
Shaped circular with reed, ribbon & acanthus leaf border & handles, centre engraved with the broken spur badge & "74" of the 74th Yeomanry Division & inscribed with presentation inscription to Brigadier-General Reginald Hoare D.S.O. by the officers, N.C.O.'s & men of 1/2 South-Western Mounted Brigade & the 229th Infantry Brigade on his marriage in 1918, together with various battle honours of the Great War in Europe & the Middle East, 27¾ in. diameter (70.7 cm.), 154.75 oz.
