TWO SMALL EARLY 20TH CENTURY RUSSIAN SILVER-GILT & CLOISONNE ENAMEL KOVSHI,
MARK OF 11TH ARTEL, 1908/17,
One with shaded enamel flowers & scrolls on cream ground, band of alternate pink & light blue triangular motifs on dark blue ground, the front with olive green & purple panel decorated with shaded pink flowers & scrolling cloissons, 3 1/8 in. long (8 cm.), ALSO a smaller kovsh with shaded flowers on powder blue sides, orange beading, pale blue front panel with orange-bordered emerald green triangles flanking the "prow", the top of handle unusually plain silver-gilt rather than enamelled, 2 7/8 in. long (6.7 cm.).
