                                            AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY RUSSIAN SILVER-GILT & CLOISONNE ENAMEL SPOON, 
MARK OF 6TH MOSCOW ARTEL, 1908/17,
Decorated with foliage in polychrome shaded enamels, predominantly pink, lilac, blue & orange, on a purple & pale green ground, the border in cream, pale green & dark olive with drop motifs, scrolls, foliage & applied with tiny pendent beads in silver, the enamelled stem with polychrome decoration below a fluted knop finial, the gilt interior of bowl with Cyrillic inscription translating as "To dear Zinaida Nikolayevna from genuinely grateful & loving students, Misha & Shura", 7½ in. long (19 cm.).
