One portraying the Tikhvinskaya, the other the Vladimiskaya, both half length, in three quarter-view, the Mother of God of Tikhvin pointing to her Son while supporting him with her left hand, the Christ Child seated with his legs crossed, turning towards his Mother, blessing and carrying a scroll; the Mother of God of Vladimir holding the Child close to her, the latter bringing his arm around her neck, both panels painted traditionally, with deep colours, the first highlighted by the chrysography on the garments, with brass oklads adorned foliate scrolls
