Like other U-Thong images this particular bronze is reminiscent of Khmer models. It displays a squarish face with very slightly arched and linked eyebrows and a nearly straight band separating the tightly curled hair dress from the forehead. Neither does the hair come to a point at the centre of the forehead that can be observed with many other styles. Furthermore the shawl-end hangs over his left shoulder and terminating square. Another common aspect of U-Thong bronze types is that the fingers of the right hand seem to have the feeling of certain heaviness. All these elements are characteristic of U-Thong Buddha types.
