Lot Essay

The Château de Villesavin was built in the 1530's by Jean Le Breton, one of King François I's Finance ministers. It is a smaller replica of one of the largest châteaux in the Loire Valley, the Château de Villandry, also built by Le Breton and completed in 1536.
