Lot Essay

Pieces stamped by or bearing a paper label from the Copenhagen Snedkerlauget often also bear the signatures of the individual master cabinet-makers, and Anton Jepsen illustrates cabinets, bureaux and secretaire cabinets by J.C. Holst, N.B. Ingen and A.D. Andersen, all of whom sold their pieces under the label of the Snederlauget (see A. Jepsen Signerede danske mobler, Copenhagen, 1979, pp. 67-76).
