Designed as four pavé-set diamond openwork lotus-motif panels to the twin pear-shaped diamond circular spacers, detaching to form two bracelets, made in 1927, 36.0 cm long (2)

Made by Cartier for Lady Evelyn Collins (b. 1882), daughter of James Henry Robert Innes-Ker, 7th Duke of Roxburghe, in August 1927

Lot Essay

The choker converts into two bracelets and was originally conceived as a bandeau, comprising a total of six parts. Presently only two of the three larger parts survive.
