Modelled by Joseph Nees as a dancer and companion pirouetting, each wearing yellow hats, blue-edged white clothes and yellow shoes, the gallant wearing a purple-squared waistcoat, his companion a purple-flowered skirt, with mottled green and brown tree-stump supports on an elongated oval mound base edged with moulded puce scrolls
