Each with foliate and rockwork-cast backplate issuing scroling foliate and leaf-wrapped branches decorated with a winged dragon and terminating in vase-shaped foliate nozzles and acanthus-cast drip-pans

I, p. 138, fig. 2.11.3. Another related pair, possibly German, was sold at Christie's London, 17 June 1987, lot 3, while another pair was sold from the Patiño Collection at Sotheby Parke Bernet, 1 November 1986, lot 50.
