A closely related pair of Louis XV dragon wall-lights, in the Bayerisches Nationalmuseum, Munich, n. 64/9, is illustrated in H. Ottomeyer, P. Pröschel et al., Vergoldete Bronzen, 1986, vol. I, p. 138, fig. 2.11.3. Another related pair, possibly German, was sold at Christie's London, 17 June 1987, lot 3, while another pair was sold from the Patiño Collection at Sotheby Parke Bernet, 1 November 1986, lot 50.
