The blue ground vase decorated with two circular medallions depicting a landscape cappriccio and a coastal scene respectively, both scenes within a gilt foliate surround, the upswept foliate scrolling handles issuing from flowered masks and terminating in scrolling serpents with gadrooned rim, on a waisted channelled socle with oak leaves and acorn motifs, above a square porphyry base and plinth with foliate border
