Struck with counterfeited marks, Hanau, circa 1900
The oval section tusk body carved with battle with horses, on silver domed foot decorated with raised foliage strapwork and four medallions, each with a warrior, the carved ivory scroll handle with seated soldier holding a shield, sayter and elephant masks, the hinged silver domed cover decorated with raised fruit strapwork and four oval medallions, each with warriors on horses, scroll thumbpiece, ivory feathered helmet and two swords, silver liner, marked on base
