A Dutch silver mustard pot
Mark of Barend van Mecklenburg, Amsterdam, 1789, also struck with a later Dutch duty mark of 1795 for Amsterdam
On square foot, circular base with beaded rim rising to the vase-shaped body openworked with slats, upper part openworked with a band of ovals and flowers between beaded rims, two beaded angular handles, detachable domed cover openworked withs slats and dots and with bud finial, blue-glass liner, marked on base
14.3 cm. high
170 gr. (excluding glass liner)
