Circular, the base enamelled in blue with gilt highlighting, the cover enamelled with a scene of a seated woman, the interior with a winged mask, the hinged grille simply pierced -- 1 in. (2.5 cm.); an oval gold-mounted cut glass vinaigrette -- 1 1/8 in. (3 cm.); and a George III silver vinaigrette, Matthew Linwood, Birmingham 1809 -- 1 1/8 in. (3 cm.) (3)
