A Russian silver-gilt and lacquer milk jug
MARK OF A.E. (CYRILLIC), MOSCOW 1893
With ribbed squat body, applied handle and lift-off cover, with deep red lacquer decoration -- 5¼ in. (13.3 cm.) high; a lacquered napkin ring and a matchbox cover, each painted with troika; and two lacquer spoons, the reverse of the bowls painted with a troike and a view of the Kremlin, both with part rope-twist handles -- 6¾ in. (17 cn.) and smaller (5)
