A LARGE 19TH CENTURY RUSSIAN SILVER-GILT BEAKER

Of tapering form with rustic engraving to the matt-finish sides, the Cyrillic letters of the inscription cleverly simulating an ivy-wrapped fence with similar gateway at centre with birds above & below, a narrow band of lozenge motifs at top & bottom, 7½ in. high (19 cm.), 13.75 oz.
