The silvered chapter ring with applied numerals, signed ARNOLD & LEWIS/MANCHESTER to the matted centre, with subsidiaries for fast/slow, chime/silent and Whittington/Westminster chime, triple chain and fusee movement with anchor escapement, chiming the quarters on a nest of eight bells or four gongs and striking the hours on further gong; pendulum, winding key
