CIRCA 1738-40, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARKS, PRESSNUMMERN 66 AND 36
Painted in the Teniers style with figures, the teabowl with a family before a fire, the saucer with a tavern scene, within quatrefoil gilt cartouches below Böttger-lustre panels, issuing iron-red scrolling leaves and shell ornament, the borders gilt with scrolls, the interior of the teabowl painted in Eisenrot with ruins in a landscape within concentric circles, the underside of the saucer and the reverse of the teabowl with sprays of indianische Blumen (slight wear to cartouche on saucer)
