carved in flight, her wings streaming out behind her, the bird-like feet tucked beneath her, holding a loquat to her chest; a three-case ivory inro, incised with the likeness of a Chinese jue vessel, scattered concentric roundels to the reverse side, incised six character Wanli mark to base; and a stag antler ojime bead, carved in the form of woven bamboo -- 2½in. (6.4cm.) high max. (3)
