A Japanese Okimono, signed Ikkosai, Meiji Period (1868-1912)
of a bijin, standing, about to perform a dance with an open parasol in one hand and a closed fan in the other, her elegant long-sleeved kimono of wood carved with falling maple leaves above a stream with floating flowerheads and open fans, signed on an aogai rectangular reserve -- 9¾in. (25cm.) high.
