A Japanese wood and brass pillar clock, 19th Century
with a leaf engraved front plate mounted with a butterfly oscillating with the balance, the rim indicated on a lacquered and gilt wood graph, with key drawer to the base; and a wood compass with red and black characters painted ringing the central slender needle -- 15 5/8in. (39.3cm.) high max. (2)
