A Tibetan Thangka of Akshobhya, 16th/17th Century
painted and gilt on cloth depicting one of the Dhyana Buddhas, his right hand in bhumisparsa, the other holding a vajra, seated on a lotus base and before a blue and gilt mandarla, surrounded by a multitude of seated Buddhas on a deep red ground -- 24.5in. x 16 3/8in. (62.5cm. x 31.5cm.) framed and glazed.
