A large Chinese stone sculpture of a Bodhisattva, late 20th century
the deity carved in the Northern Wei-style, standing on a double lotus base before a flaming mandorla, wearing a be-jewelled headdress and long flowing robes fixed with a circular clasp at the waist, the right hand holding a pearl -- 51¾in. (131.8cm.) high.
